Lee Jun Hyuk Talks About His Rising Popularity, Recent Role In “Love Scout,” And More

Actor Lee Jun Hyuk has graced the cover of the fashion magazine ELLE MAN Korea!

Stylishly pulling off outfits from LOEWE, Lee Jun Hyuk showcased his unmatched aura with a variety of looks, from his signature intense gaze to witty poses.

In an interview following the photoshoot, Lee Jun Hyuk was asked if he can feel the overwhelming love as one of today’s most popular actors. He replied, “I’ve just started my next project, so I’m in a bit of a whirlwind. But I do feel like I’m getting more work. The staff and people around me seem even more excited about it than I am, but I always tell [myself and them], ‘Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.’ In this kind of situation, I just think, ‘The drama must have been a success.’”

Having recently shown his versatility across various genres including “The Roundup: No Way Out,” “Dongjae, The Good or the Bastard,” and “Love Scout,” Lee Jun Hyuk shared his thoughts on playing a good father in “Love Scout.” He said, “I don’t think this drama was meant to depict the realities of parenting. There are projects that highlight real-life issues and push for change, while others present an ideal vision. Even if it feels like a fantasy, sometimes we need something that gives us strength and sets an aspirational standard. This time, I wanted to go in the latter direction.”

When asked about the driving force that has sustained him throughout his 20-year acting career, Lee Jun Hyuk said, “I think I’ve always kept my characters strictly separate from myself. In fact, I tend to be afraid of stepping into the spotlight. But just as my presence can be rediscovered or recreated through different projects—or even in today’s photoshoot where I’m holding flowers—I believe ‘Lee Jun Hyuk’ as an actor can always be reinterpreted.”
