Legendary Idol Reacts To Low Ticket Sales Ahead Of Concert
When a group is announced to be going on tour, fans are usually thrilled at the opportunity to see their favorite idols in person. For groups with a larger fan base, the biggest concern for fans is getting the desired ticket.
However, even popular artists can experience lower concert ticket sales for various reasons, including poor timing.
SM Entertainment Group Abruptly Cancels Concert Due To Shockingly Low Sales
Recently, a legendary idol shared his feelings and concerns over his concert tour.
As an idol that has been active since 1998, most are familiar with Rain as he has been active in each generation of K-Pop.
Earlier this year, it was announced that Rain would embark on the Still Raining encore tour, and visit different different city across the U.S.

He detailed his time on tour in a new video on his Season BYouTube channel, where the behind-the-scenes planning was also shown.
Rain admitted to checking the sales himself, and was concerned that it appeared that not many had sold.
While preparing for the U.S. tour, I felt anxious. When you do concerts in the U.S., you need to sell a certain number of tickets for there to even be a next one. I quietly went onto the ticketing site by myself, and it was all showing in blue. The sold seats show up in gray. It made me think, ‘Is it really right to go?’ because the start was slower than I expected.
— Rain
Ultimately, the ticket sales did pick up, with Rain commenting that he did not realize that concerts in America pick up sales just before the show, and expressed gratefulness that people still come to see him perform.

When I was younger and performing, I thought packed venues were just a given. But now, the fact that people come specifically to see me is truly moving.
