During one of the recent episodes, a scene sparked fury as the chairman slapped Ahn Eun Jin‘s character. The OP who posted the video online that went viral added, “Even if it’s just a drama, having the chairman slap an employee in the company, in front of all the employees, is unbelievably ridiculous. Is he out of his mind?”

When international fans saw it, they were furious and while some thought it just didn’t fit with the drama and was an odd decision by the writers, others explained that it seemed demeaning to the representation of woman and the storylines that had been portrayed throughout with the female lead.
