PLAVE Members Recommend Their Best Songs, Share Their New Year's Goals, And More
The virtual idol group PLAVE has graced the cover of Cosmopolitan Korea’s February special edition!
PLAVE participated in a photoshoot and interview with the fashion and lifestyle magazine Cosmopolitan Korea. The pictorial highlights the bold and stylish visuals of PLAVE, who are paving their own path as a new generation idol group.
Over the past year, PLAVE has achieved remarkable career growth, earning accolades such as the Top 10 and Millions Top 10 for the Melon Music Awards 2024, the Most Popular Artist (Male) Award at the 39th Golden Disc Awards, and the New Wave Star Award at the 33rd Seoul Music Awards. They also sold out both their fan concert and encore concert, solidifying their rising status.
When asked if they feel the growing love from their fans, Eunho shared his heartfelt thoughts, saying, “Every time I perform on stage in front of our fans, I feel emotions that are beyond words. At one point, while singing, I thought to myself, ‘Could this feeling be love?’ It’s a precious emotion that PLLI (PLAVE’s official fan club name) has taught me.”
As all the members actively participate in album production, each member shared their personal picks for their “must-listen” tracks or “hidden gems.” Yejun said, “I’d like to recommend ‘From,’ a B-side track from our second mini album.”
While Bambi picked ‘Our Movie,’ Noah shared, “I’ll recommend ‘The 6th Summer.’ I believe it’s the song that shaped who we are today,”
Eunho said, “I’d choose our soon-to-be-released title track. I think it’s a song that showcases PLAVE’s musical strengths really well.”
Lastly, Hamin said, “We can’t leave out the song that marked the beginning of PLAVE. I’d recommend ‘I’ll Wait.’”
When asked what kind of goals PLAVE have as they welcome the new year, Noah remarked, “Now that what I once thought was a dream has come true, I want to move forward toward things I haven’t even dared to dream of yet.”
Yejun added, “Whether it’s on stage, in broadcasts, or on variety shows, I want to show a new side of me. Just as I have always done, I plan to keep challenging myself and taking on new experiences in the new year,” raising anticipation for what is to come.
PLAVE is set to release their third mini album “Caligo Pt.1” on February 3. Stay tuned!
