Popular Idol’s Appearance In First Military Update Triggers Concern

When idols enlist, the updates slow down, and fans are left waiting for military updates or news from their group mates and friends. Typically, these updates are met with enthusiasm, especially those that occur during their training period.

However, recent updates from a popular idol have left fans worried.

In October, it was announced that NCT’s Doyoung and Jungwoo would be enlisting in the military, with Jungwoo entering the military band and Doyoung becoming an active duty soldier. The two enlisted on December 8 and fans have since waiting to hear from the idols.

Since then, fans have heard updates from the other members about their condition, with the members saying on more than one occasion that Doyoung was having a hard time.

On December 23, the first photos of Doyoung while training were released, showing the idol with his training squad.

While fans were excited to see him, many were concerned over his appearance along side the accounts from his members.

Hopefully, it is just an adjustment to military life from idol life and Doyoung’s hard time ends soon.
