“Single’s Inferno” Season 5 Returns To Netflix In January
Netflix variety show Single’s Inferno Season 5 will be released worldwide on January 20, heating up the New Year 2026.
As the first Korean variety show on Netflix to reach its fifth season, the legendary dating reality show Single’s Inferno takes place on an isolated island, where only couples are allowed to leave. It showcases the honest and fiery dating experiences of singles.
Season 1 marked the first Korean variety show to enter the global Top 10 TV (non-English) category. Season 2 stayed in the same category for four consecutive weeks. Season 3, featuring groundbreaking twists that broke conventional formats, topped the global popularity charts for five weeks and appeared in the Top 10 lists of 31 countries. Notably, Season 4 demonstrated the evolution of dating variety shows, recording the highest viewing hours for a first-week release and reaffirming its position as the undisputed leader in dating reality TV.
Fans are eagerly anticipating which captivating singles will break the limits with bold advances in Season 5 and invite viewers into a dopamine-fueled inferno like never before. Kim Jae Won, the producer who has led the success of all five seasons, shared heartfelt remarks, saying, “I can only say I am deeply moved. I believe we have come this far thanks to all the singles who have been with us since Season 1 and the fans who have supported them.”
The newly released teaser trailer promises an intense love battle among the eccentric singles gathered on the “quirky island.” Sweet flirting lines like “I’ve decided—I’ll only get drunk four times a year, and maybe today is one of those days” are followed by blunt, unfiltered remarks such as “Is anybody two-timing?” and “Why should I? We only went there once.” These tease an even more thrilling paradise and a fiercer, hotter inferno. Above all, the singles’ striking presence in the brief teaser elevates the excitement to new heights.
The season will feature dramatic relationship narratives crafted by emotionally honest “flirting masters,” and the dating show experts’ finely honed skills to trigger powerful emotional responses will remain the season’s biggest draw. Producer Kim Jae Won stated, “Season 5 focuses on the ‘excitement’ of a classic dating program. You can expect a much wider variety of love lines and strong characters.” He added, “You can look forward to fascinating relationships like you’ve never seen before,” stirring great anticipation for Season 5.
The hottest hell on earth, Single’s Inferno’Season 5, will be available on Netflix starting Tuesday, January 20.
