The incident happened while the idol was trying to communicate with fans through a fan communication app. Inseong sent a message asking, “Everyone, what are you doing?” However, the autotranslation feature ended up mistranslating his words. As a result, international fans were greeted by a knee-jerk message: “Everyone is motherf*cker.”

The wrong translation was likely caused by Inseong’s altering the spelling of his message to convey a more laid-back tone.

The message has now gone viral on online communities, leaving netizens in stitches. What added to the hilarity was the fact that Inseong’s name popped right above the message, and in the Korean language, “Inseong” means someone’s moral character or personality.
